Tom Cull is London’s Poet Laureate and is also a Professor of Creative Writing at Western University and serves in several literary and environmental organizations. Tom co-founded the Thames River Rally which coordinates monthly cleanups of the Thames River and his writing reflects his love of green space and the various wildlife that inhabit these areas.

Tom has been on the board London’s WordsFest and has been the coordinator for its spontaneous Guerilla Poetry event.  He’s also been part of Poetry London’s team and served as a workshop facilitator. He’s also helped poets of all ages with their craft both on campus and out in the community.

What the Badger Said was Tom Cull’s first chapbook and was published in 2013 by London’s Baseline Press. He has a forthcoming full-length book of poems called Bad Animals which will be published by Insomniac Press next Spring and has poetry in a number of anthologies including Another London published by Harmonia Press and Translating Horses which Baseline Press put out a few years’ back.

Tom grew up here in Huron County on a farm with a river running through it and still returns for family visits and, on July 5th, to share his fantastic poetry.
